Evaluation & Competition Opportunities
Students who are more committed and involved in their piano playing have the opportunities to participate in various events around the state.  Our highly skilled and experienced teachers have the tools to prepare students for these events such as:
  • Royal American Conservatory Examinations
  • Massachusetts Music Teachers Association festivals and competitions

Home Visit
Regular home visits will be offered to students and parents through the year to meet with the program director at the students’ homes to ensure students are enjoying and making progress with their lessons.

Parents’ Workshop
Have you thought of helping your children to practice but felt like not knowing where to start?  For every semester, a complimentary 1-hour piano group class for the parents will be available.  It is an introductory class on piano playing and music reading.

Equipment
Students should have a well-tuned acoustic or digital piano. Pianos can range from a couple hundred dollars to thousands of dollars.  Since it could be a big financial commitment initially, full-size keyboards are acceptable and rental keyboards are also available.  We offer complimentary assistance in helping you with the purchasing process.  Please contact us before you buy an instrument so that you can avoid costly mistakes!

The piano is one of the most appealing and familiar instruments. Whether gathering around the piano for a sing-along, or listening to it at a church, or hearing it played by pop artists on television, we are immediately drawn to the versatility and sound of the piano. Because of the broad range and variety of sounds that the piano can make, playing the piano is like having an orchestra at your disposal!

Piano is a great instrument for beginning music studies because of its ease of use.  Be it grooving along to one of the latest, hottest tune from the radio, or expressing yourself with one of the classical masterworks, our versatile, experienced and knowledgeable team of instructors can help students reach their individual goals.

Age
Generally piano is for students 5 and up.  However, each child is unique in their developmental stage.  Please contact us to schedule a free assessment meeting today!
