While many schools are run by corporations, we are founded and led by successful music educators and musicians who are passionate about only one thing - sharing the joy of playing music with every student.

Individualized - Each student is unique in their interest and ability. While we offer a structured lesson curriculum that provides direction for our students, there is much flexibility within that structure to allow for students to go at their own pace and to use materials that speak to them. Unlike group classes that might save a few bucks, our one-on-one approach guarantees the best possible experience and most individualized results. Each student will be matched with the right instructor based on their personality, learning style and interest utilizing materials that best fit their individuality.

Balancing Fun and Fundamentals - Do you want to just learn to play a few of your favorite songs now, or to acquire the skills necessary to be able to learn as many favorites as you would like on your own beyond your lessons? We believe the latter is far more rewarding. That is why our students follow our uniquely designed lesson plans balancing fun and fundamentals that will equip them to become lifelong musicians.

Great Instructors - Great musicians do not necessarily make great teachers and it is hard to find a perfect combination of both. Led by successful music educators and musicians, Merry Melody Music Academy identifies great instructors from the pack. We go through a rigorous process to handpick some of the best instructors around the area. We also provide ongoing training for our instructors, which is unique to our school and really sets us a step above others. This training allows us to maintain not only a high level of quality of the lessons, but also the ability to have consistency and continuity among instructors. We are also the only school to provide both a Massachusetts CORI background check as well as a nationwide background on all instructors.

Recital Opportunities - Lessons without specific goals often end up with students losing interest as they never get to realize the joy of the sense of accomplishment. Unique to our school in the number and variety of opportunities, we host recitals throughout the year as ongoing goals for students to help them affirm their progress and to propel them forward. Students can take advantage of the different sizes of recitals at different venues that cater best to their level and experience.
